"I’ve always been an artist at heart."
Before I was a jeweler’s apprentice, I dabbled as a welder/blacksmith, realtor, martial arts instructor, bicycle mechanic, and sculptor.
My style of life is quirky humor: wearing releasable zip ties as shoelaces, cigars on my car antenna, a band-aid on my windshield crack, and a cord from my bedpost to my bedroom door so that I can close the door without getting out of bed.
As an aspiring stand-up comedian, my humor also reveals itself in my creations and designs. I love collaborating with other artists and discovering their passions in creation.
I’m a lover of mechanical things, like stick-shift cars and automatic watches. In another life, I’d be a watchmaker.
During my free time, I like to draw designs of my next project, whether it be welding sculptures, eccentric rings, distinctive necklaces or other idiosyncratic jewelry, or building a custom camper for my truck.
I love working with my hands and believe I will continue doing so as long as I can. or until my stand-up comedy takes off. Even then, I’d be compelled to continue creating jewelry.
